Biography: Prof. Dr. Dr. oec. Volker Amelung has been Professor of International Health Systems Research at Hannover Medical School since 2001. Holding a doctorate from the University of St. Gallen, he served as Chairman of the German Managed Care Association (BMC) from 2007 to 2022. He founded inav in 2011 and consults extensively for national organizations and the WHO. His research and
advisory work focus on managed care, integrated care systems, and the evaluation of innovative healthcare delivery models.
